How to use OpenBio

Every Studio module in a few honest steps — the same “How to use” boxes that sit at the top of each module inside the Studio. New here? Start at the top and work down; each section takes about a minute.

Link in Bio — Editor & Design

  1. Fill in Profile — display name, bio, avatar — then click Save profile. It goes live on your public page immediately.
  2. Add Socials: pick the platform, paste your profile URL, Save profile — each appears under your bio with its real brand icon.
  3. In Design, pick a template and adjust the colour pickers, then Save design. Open “Advanced” only if you need raw CSS values.
  4. Click + Add block to add links, videos, forms, products or a booking block; reorder with ↑ ↓ and change one with Edit.
  5. Check the phone preview on the right — it reloads after every save.

💡 Tip: Add an Email capture block early: every subscriber lands in Audience and powers your Marketing emails.

Store

  1. Click + New product, choose a kind (digital, course, membership, service), set a display price and stock, then Save.
  2. Add a Product grid block in the Editor (Link in Bio) so the product shows on your public page.
  3. Visitors claim products for $0 — files, courses and memberships land in their library at /library.
  4. Bulk-add with Import products (CSV): one line per product — Title, price, description.
  5. Recent claims lists every order; all totals are $0 by design.

💡 Tip: Prices are reference values only — your real scoreboard is claims, counted in Analytics.

Bookings

  1. Bookings come from Service blocks — add one in the Editor (Link in Bio → + Add block → Service / Booking).
  2. In the block, pick the service product and the time slots you want to offer.
  3. Visitors pick a date and a free slot on your public page and book with their name + email.
  4. Booked slots block automatically — the same slot can never be double-booked.
  5. Every booking lands in the Bookings table with date, time and status.

💡 Tip: Create the service as a product in Store first (kind: service) so its duration and details stay in one place.

Audience

  1. Subscribers arrive from Email capture / Phone capture blocks and lead forms on your page — or import them in Audience.
  2. Import CSV with one contact per line: value, name (email or phone, then name).
  3. Create Segments to group people by source, language or country for targeted broadcasts.
  4. Use Export CSV any time — your list is yours.
  5. Remove a subscriber or lead with the ✕ on its row.

💡 Tip: Country and language are detected from the visitor’s browser automatically — segments built on them are usually your sharpest targeting.

Marketing

  1. Write a broadcast: subject (use {name} to personalise), body, optionally a segment — Send broadcast queues real email.
  2. Delivery is real but queued: watch messages flip from queued to sent in the logs as the mail worker sends them.
  3. Create an Automation: trigger welcome (new subscriber) or after_claim, write subject + body, Save, and leave it On.
  4. Use an automation’s Edit button to change it; On/Off pauses it without deleting.
  5. Check the delivery log to confirm each message’s status.

💡 Tip: Start with a welcome automation — it fires for every new subscriber while you sleep.

Smart Reply (demo)

  1. Add a rule: a keyword fans might write (e.g. “price”) and the auto-reply text — use {name} for their name.
  2. Test it under Simulate an incoming DM: type a fan name and a message, click Send.
  3. The simulator shows exactly which reply would fire — or “(no rule matched)”.
  4. Delete rules with ✕ when they go stale.

💡 Tip: This module is a labelled demo: it simulates an Instagram inbox and does not connect to a real Instagram account.

Open in Studio

Scheduler (demo)

  1. Pick a platform (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube), write the post text, choose a date and time.
  2. Click Schedule — the post appears in the list with its status.
  3. Delete a scheduled post with ✕.

💡 Tip: Demo only: posts are planned and logged here — nothing is published to real social networks in this build.

Media Kit

  1. Write your About intro and add a pitch video URL (YouTube/Vimeo) if you have one.
  2. Fill Audience stats, your Rate card and Past brand deals — one row per item.
  3. Set an Access code to gate the kit, or leave it blank to keep it public.
  4. Click Save media kit — your kit is live at /yourname/kit, with your socials shown as brand icons.
  5. Brand inquiries from the kit’s contact form land in Brand inquiries in the module.

💡 Tip: The kit shows a transparent pricing calculator (followers ÷ 1,000 × $12 × engagement ÷ 3) — brands trust numbers they can recompute.

Analytics

  1. Pick a range: Last 7, 30 or 90 days.
  2. The top cards show views, clicks, free claims, subscribers, media kit views and the list value claimed — fees are always $0.
  3. Views by day shows your traffic rhythm; Clicks by link shows which blocks earn attention.
  4. Devices split four ways — phone / tablet / laptop / desktop — alongside visitor languages and countries.

💡 Tip: A link with views but no clicks usually needs a clearer title — rename it in the Editor and compare next week.

Share & Referrals

  1. Download QR or Copy link and put it everywhere — the Instagram, TikTok and YouTube buttons jump straight to those bio edit pages.
  2. Every visit through your link is tracked in Analytics.
  3. Share your referral link: creators who sign up through it are counted under Creators referred.
  4. Your public page carries a “Join me” bar credited to you (unless you hid branding in the Editor).

💡 Tip: A QR code on printed material — packaging, flyers, business cards — turns offline fans into subscribers.

Settings

  1. Paste marketing pixel IDs (Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, GTM, Snap, GA) and Save integrations — the tags inject into your public page automatically.
  2. Set your SEO title and meta description so search results show your words, not defaults.
  3. Custom domain: point a CNAME to openbio.io.vn, save it, then Check DNS now — the lookup is real.
  4. Back up any time with Download my data (one JSON export of everything).
  5. The Danger zone deletes the account and all its data permanently — password + typing DELETE required.

💡 Tip: Verify your email in the “Your data” card so password resets and account notices always reach you.
